I’m a textile artist and yarn dyer living in the south west of the UK.

I love to work with vintage textiles and threads, enjoying the history I hold in my hands when I’m stitching. Always, wherever I am, nature is my inspiration…. birdsong in the trees, a glimpse of a butterfly, the rush of a river, the buzzing of the bees, the leaf on the tree, the slow doze of winter, the headiness of a big sky. I love to translate the raw beauty of nature into stitch and daily add little slow stitches to my stitched nature journal.

In life we are inspired by each other, through friendships, film, a good book, an exhibition, a visit to somewhere new or a favourite haunt.

The aim of The Snowdrop is to gather and spread little drops of joy and inspiration.
